The Mahatma Gandhi University Off-campus Center was first established as the UEIT, Karama, Dubai in the year 2001. Following the establishment of Dubai Knowledge Village, the prestigious educational zone promoting Dubai as the hub of higher education in the Middle East, UEIT was invited to set up its Center there. Thereafter, in 2003, the Mahatma Gandhi University Off Campus Center, Dubai Knowledge Village, became functional, facilitated by UEIT.
